Welcome to Riegelsville Public Library
Riegelsville Public Library occupies the second floor of the Riegelsville Borough Offices.  Though our building was constructed in 1886 by Jonn L. Riegel as a private college-prep school, support from the Bucks County Free Library enables us to offer all of the services of a larger library. Please join us on a virtual tour of our beautiful facility!
As you can see we pack a lot into a little space.  This area contains the adult fiction, non-fiction, large print and biography sections.  Help yourself to a seat at one of our oak tables or browse amongst the original bookcases for your reading material.  We have a staff of two individuals, a Technical Assistant and PA Certified Librarian to assist you in your selections.
Come right in!  We are located on the second floor.  Should you not be able to negotiate the 26 steps to the top of the stairs we have a wheelchair ramp at the rear of the building and a chair lift.  Just ring the buzzer at the base of the stairs for assistance!
The Mercer Tile fireplace was added in 1925.  Not only is it a wonderful decoration, children and adults enjoy congregating in the area near the fireplace to chat, read and play.
We offer free wireless access for customers with wireless devices.  We also have a computer for public use.  Our computer is ADA compatible with assistive software and adaptive hardware technologies.  We offer web access and Microsoft Office on our public computer.
In addition to traditional formats we also offer books on CD and cassette as well as entertainment and educational videos and DVDs.  All are free for checkout with your Bucks County Library Card.
Our magazines check out for 3 weeks.  We offer an selection for children, teens and adults of both entertaining and informative reading.  Current copies are for in-library use only and conveniently located adjacent to the fireside reading lounge.
Welcome to the Banko Children's Room.  Opened in 2006 this is where we have our juvenile and easy picturebook collection.  We also conduct our smaller children's programs in this room, such as our book discussions and storytimes!
Now follow me back to the Banko Children's Room, dedicated in March 2006.
