The library is located at 615 Easton Road (Route 611), Riegelsville, PA, on the second floor of Riegelsville Borough Hall. Parking is available on Church Road (parallel to Route 611). The library's main entrance is at the front of the building; the back entrance is handicapped accessible. The library is equipped with an electronic chair lift for patrons needing assistance getting up the stairs. From the south (Doylestown, Philadelphia, etc.) Take Route 611 north into Riegelsville; at the traffic light (the only one in town), turn left onto Delaware Road and go up the hill. Turn right at Church Road and go to the second parking lot on the right. From the north (Easton, Pocono region, etc.) Take Route 611 south into Riegelsville. Turn right at Elmwood Lane, then take the first left onto Church Road. The Municipal Building/Library parking lot is at the first left. If you overshoot and miss Elmwood Lane, turn right at the traffic light onto Delaware Road and proceed as above. From the west (Allentown/Bethlehem, Harrisburg, etc.) Take Route 22 or 78 east to Easton and follow signs for Route 611 South. Continue 8 miles south on Route 611 into Riegelsville. Turn right at Elmwood Lane, then take the first left onto Church Road. The Municipal Building/Library parking lot is at the first left. If you overshoot and miss Elmwood Lane, turn right at the traffic light onto Delaware Road and proceed as above. From New Jersey From Route 627 (Riegelsville Road-Warren Glen Road) in Riegelsville, NJ, cross the Delaware River at the Riegelsville Bridge onto Delaware Road; continue over the small canal bridge. At the traffic light (intersection of Delaware Road and Easton Road (Route 611)), go straight through and up the hill. Turn right at Church Road and go to the second parking lot on the right. |
