Volunteer opportunities

Do you like "the library life"?  We have volunteer opportunities for teens and adults in many capacities!  Helping with children's programs and storytimes, special projects, seasonal events (library fair, book sale, holiday events, etc.), fundraising, publicity -- these are just a few ways to be part of the library's mission and participate in community life.

What kids of people serve as a library volunteers?  These are just a few:

  -  Retirees and empty-nesters
  -  Teenagers and college students looking for chances to use their time well during the summer
  -  Boy and Girl Scouts seeking to fulfill merit badge requirements
  -  People who are "between jobs" who want to stay busy and keep their skills current
  -  Students looking to fulfill volunteerism requirements, or who wantto have community-service
experience to cite on college applications
  -  Professionals who are willing to share their skills and experience
pro bono for the benefit of
      the community
  -  Stay-at-home parents seeking a little "grown-up" time out of the house
  -  ... and more!

If you have time and/or a talent to share, we'd love to hear from you! Just give us a call at (610) 749-2357.
